about

I used a beat in the CS1x here and toggled the modulation to make a verse and chorus. But I didn't record the beat direct. I pumped it into the room via the Super 6 amp I had at the time and then mic'd it with a few condensers in close proximity to the walls which made it really roomy and boomy. Guitars are the Harmony Rocket and Bobkat I used to have. Michael Seaman added drums later on.

lyrics

I smashed my head (and you smashed your teeth)
On the roof of your truck (on the steering wheel)
It didn't look good. Yeah, we fucked it all up.
Sitting like stones in your pickup truck.
Called Doug's phone. Said he'd head right out.
We pushed it off the road - you and your bleeding mouth.
We didn't get caught. Call it stupid luck.
Waiting for a ride in your pickup truck.
Now is never then.
Now is never then.
